First day back home

So after being up in Vermont at St. Mike's since August 22 (we moved in on the 23rd), I made a long trip back yesterday for homecoming at my school and arrived in Thompson, CT shortly after 10 last night and decided to make a visit to the homecoming dance last night to see some of my old friends and it was awesome. Then today, there was the actual homecoming at my high school and I got to see even more friends, people who didn't go to the dance or that I didn't see last night. Anyways, coming back to see my friends and family has been so much fun, but I still miss college. This is my actual home, but St. Mike's has become my home away from home and I've spent so much time there recently that it feels weird to get away from it all. I am so happy to be home, though, and am excited to see what the rest of the weekend has in store for me.

Finally Home

Well, after about a month and a half at smc, I'm finally back home for the long weekend. It's great to be back, I've missed my family, friends, and my dogs so much! But I know that as soon as I'm back at smc, I'll feel at home again because that's how smc makes you feel.

That's all for now, just wanted to check in quickly.

Long awaited break

After being up at St. Mike's for almost 2 months now, it's finally time for me to go home for a visit, and it is bittersweet. I get to see all of my friends back home and get to see my family and my dogs (who I've been saying I miss since I got up here) and now I'm making the long trip back to Connecticut with my friends from Champlain. This weekend is homecoming at my old high school and I'm going back to get my yearbook and catch up with friends. This weekend is bittersweet though because though I'm going home to see all of my old friends, I know that means coming back will be all that much harder. However, I got several hours ahead of me and I'm happy to be making the trip back to ct with my friends from last year

Another cool college photo

I figured I should post more of the pictures that I have taken around campus because why take them if you can't share them? So here's another picture that I took last week at the bus stop in front of Ryan dorm

Just another positive of college

So Scott and I decided that now since we got the app for this blog, we can now post pictures so I wanted to post a photo of one of the many nice views we have here on St. Mike's campus

I think this photo is amazing because of how it's just one of those things you don't always get to see everyday.

Making Up For Old Posts

So since I missed a few posts being busy, I decided that I am going to post a little bit more often, so that things like that do not happen again, and also because it's kind of fun. So anyway, while taking a break from an essay that I am writing right now, I went onto YouTube (like I normally do) and decided to type in smcvt to see what comes up. I found this page, made by Saint Mikes, which looks like it could be something helpful to those of you who are looking at colleges and maybe don't know what to think about the college, and this page looks like it could answer a lot of questions.

Also, if there are questions that cannot be found, you could always look on the website and possibly mail someone if you still cannot find what you are looking for.

A Perk of SMC

So I just downloaded the app for my phone so I can blog without my computer, and I just wanted to show a perk of going to SMC. That is Lake Champlain, and going to it like I did about a month ago at night allows you to take pics like this. That's pretty cool.
